Egyptian ultra-runner Sherief Elabd – the second Egyptian to climb Mount Everest – is the record holder for the fastest time on the Three Peaks Egypt Challenge, with a time of 7 hours, 22 mins 35 seconds. He is followed closely by Ahmeddwoo Salah, another Egyptian Ultra runner & Mohamed Metwaly, also from Egypt who – being in his 50s – remains the oldest person to complete the challenge in under 12 hours. Record attempts are recognised on one of two official routes: the original 38km Three Peaks Egypt Challenge route – ROUTE A – or a slightly longer version, ROUTE B. All record attempts are verified by the Three Peaks Egypt Team, who will examine time-stamped GPS tracks recorded by every challenger.
